From The New York Times: Sue Grafton, Whose Detective Novels Spanned the Alphabet, Dies at 77
In 2005, Ms. Grafton visited The Bob Edwards Show (Bob in Washington, D.C. and Ms. Grafton in New York at Jazz at Lincoln Center) to have a conversation with Bob about her then-new book, S is for Silence. From the introduction:
Nearly 23 years ago, Sue Grafton wrote a mystery novel titled A Is For Alibi, beginning a highly successful series that has steadily moved through the alphabet to the point where S Is for Silence is now in the bookstores. That means she has at least seven more books in her future. Sue Grafton is my guest today, telling us of the lastest adventures involving her fictional detective Kinsey Millhone.
The last segment is devoted to the Grammy nominees who were on the program in the past year, but the bulk of the program goes to Sue Grafton; interview produced by Chad Campbell. Script/roadmap also included for those of us who enjoy reading such things.
