Marc Fisher on The Bob Edwards Show

Filed under: Radio Today, Bob Edwards Archives — Charlie Summers @ 4:47 pm

I know I have been lax lately posting archive programs, but life is what it is, and has kept me busy with other things. I’d love to promise to do better, but you know how that goes…

In 2007, journalist Marc Fisher released the book Something in the Air: Radio, Rock, and the Revolution That Shaped a Generation, and visited the XM Studios to spend an entire show talking to Bob about the transformation of radio in the 1950’s, 60’s, and 70’s from drama and comedy to the era of the disc jockey and beyond.

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate National Radio Day than a re-visit with Marc Fisher. Script/roadmap included, of course. This program was produced by Andy Danyo Kubis.
