The main feed; in a news aggrigator, it's the news items, in a podcast client, it's the media files.

  • iTunes RSS 2.0

This is the feed for iTunes to load the podcast. Why so difficult and non-standard? Beats's why I use Juice and not iTunes.

This is the feed for global comments (any comment made to the board); each entry has a seperate comments feed, too

The Bob Edwards Show First Anniversary Party, September 28, 2005

Filed under: Radio Today — Charlie Summers @ 10:59 am

Because I originally posted this report in three parts, I am posting this pointer-post to the three.

First up, My Trip to Spaceship XM…Part 1 where we left the hotel, hit the XM Satellite Radio building, and instead entered the Starship Enterprise.

Next, Down the Rabbit Hole…Part 2 where we grabbed a bite to eat and then scurried around the building like mice in search of cheese…

Finally, Hello, and Welcome to The Bob Edwards Show for Tuesday, October 4th…Part 3 where we all moved into the XM Performance Studio (now named for the CEO Bob interviewed that evening, Hugh Panero) and watched the show.

Some passing thoughts. Annie and I still have the Maker’s Mark they gave us, although I opened mine last week to drink a toast (or three) to the final original show, and will have another toast tomorrow on the 10th anniversary of that very first show. The CDs are here, too, and maybe this weekend I’ll listen to one again. The congratulations board we all signed way back then was still sitting in the conference table nook when I visited the studios last month - didn’t get the time to look for my signature, but I know it’s on there somewhere. If you contrast-and-compare the studio photos from 2005 and last month, you’ll see not much has changed.

And it looks like my hopes for a 30th anniversary party have been dashed…
