I went on-line to check the schedule, and discovered just how behind the PDF schedule is

Gets better...there's something amiss with the PDF file that crashed Firefox not once, not twice, but three times, using 100% of the CPU and forcing me to do mean-and-ugly things to get the system back.

(I went there to see if there was any information on the change to the 7:30 EDT replay of Marketplace, which has apparently been replaced by various other half-hour programs.)

Last night I confirmed some late night changes -- late night on the east coast, anyway. Dick Gordon's The Story is now on at midnight, which pleases me greatly. Larry Mantle's show now plays at 3 a.m. (announced during one of the breaks), which had been Chris Lydon's newer spot for Radio Open Source, which originally was on live at 7 p.m. Very sadly, Open Source is gone -- at least for the summer, and some folks are saying he is re-vamping the broadcast, yet again. What I read is that the show is seriously lacking in funds and may not make it back even 4 days a week. The last two podcasts appear to discuss this isue; I have not made the time to listen them yet. I was too far asleep when the 1 a.m. show came on to know what it is, but either 1 a.m. or 2 a.m. is Radio West, from what I think I audibly observed.

Two nights ago, when I heard part of Dick Gordon around 12:40 a.m., I went on-line to check the schedule, and discovered just how behind the PDF schedule is. I'm glad to know where the strikeouts came from, anyway. I wrote a lengthy email to the email provided, and the following day got an unable to deliver message from the server. Something is wrong on the server, I guess.
