I put on my local NPR station in the morning when I figure there is possibly news I want to hear. Otherwise I'm tuned to XMPR to hear Bob Edwards. It's too bad that it would cost so much for him to do a two hour show of international news in combination with his spectacular interviews.

(So I re-registered...I'm back (again)) I'm still with you 100%. I absolutely do not listen to "ME". I will boycott it forever (or at least as long as you-know-who are the hosts). I have noticed something interesting locally: KQED (the huge NPR station in San Francisco), (who didn't support Bob) almost never has ME promos during its broadcast of ATC in the afternoon/evening anymore. One of the smaller, central coast NPR affiliates (associated with the university in Monterey) uses them and I have to either switch channels or mute it when I hear "that voice".......AARGH. Anyway, would still give anything for Bob to be back in that chair in the morning.
