We always welcome any guests to our monthly meetings, but it was a special treat to have a guy so steeped in OTR lore, like Charlie, to join our members. When we said our good-byes to Charlie late Friday night, we wished him a speedy recovery so he can shed that cane (which kinda makes him look sophisticated......like Edward R. Murrow?)
