Space Celebration Circles Globe

From Wired: On April 12, space advocates will mark the fourth annual Yuri’s Night, a global celebration of Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s 108-minute orbit around the Earth in 1961. The founders hope that a show of global unity toward a common goal, space exploration, will move the planet away from current military preoccupations to something more constructive.
