Satellite Struggles to Find Niche

From Wired: Skeptical subscribers and investors have come around to satellite radio. Howard Stern is making noise about switching to satellite radio. And, most tellingly, broadcast radio is on the defensive.

I honestly don’t understand the fuss about satellite radio. I mean, why pay for something that’s just playing in the background anyway? Like a quarter-slot in an elevator to pay for the musak…
